When I received my real estate license in 2011, my very first MLS website was REBroker.Miami. It underwent several revisions and a couple of hosting providers, however, much of this activity was prior to my having incorporated Miami Beach Brokers LLC, let alone beginning building the brand and marketing it. The traffic at one point was seeing well over 1000 new users per month before ultimately falling off a cliff because the web server, not in my control, began to slow to a point that made the website unusable. I held on to this website domain and maintained the MLS website for far longer than I should have; I am too sentimental, I guess. I should have cut the expense two years ago when the website traffic began to decline significantly.
Last week, I emailed the web hosting provider to cancel and cease the billing. I have already redirected the domain to go to the Miami Beach Brokers® Official Website Blog, and I have put the domain up for sale. REBroker.Miami and REBrokers.Miami (which I never used) will not be renewed and will either sell or go back to being available for registration with GoDaddy. Numerous old business cards have my @rebroker.miami email address and I am putting this post out to leave an official online record that I should be contacted through the MiamiBeachBrokers.com website.
I have put numerous other domains up for sale and discontinued some other test websites as I clean house ahead of the New Year and place more of my focus on the Miami Beach Brokers® brand and my agents. For all Southeast Florida Real Estate inquiries, please contact us at MiamiBeachBrokers.com!
