A Mid-Summer 2021 Update
Hello Capitalists! Normally, the Summer season is a respite from the “busy season” for Realtors® in Southeast Florida, however, the summer season of 2021 has seen unprecedented demand similar to January through June of this year. The market for Southeast Florida Real Estate, in general, remains extremely high and properties at virtually all price levels vanish from the market within a couple of weeks of being listed on the MLS and that is when they even make it to the MLS before getting sold!
This week represents the middle point of Summer. Traditionally, the “midpoint” of Summer is August 1st and that generally shows up on calendars as Llamas Day on many Christian calendars, its roots are more ancient in origin and represent a celebration of the first harvest and enjoyment of the first fruits of the harvest. August 7th, today, is officially the Mid-Point of the Summer season and represents a great time to release a brief summer update.
On June 5th of this year, Miami Beach Brokers® moved its CRM (Customer Relationship Management) and Website to the KVCore Platform by Inside Real Estate. Over the following 6 weeks, customer data was loaded and all customer search preferences from the prior website & CRM solution were manually ported over to our new platform. As of the time of this writing, only the company and the qualifying real estate broker, Christopher Lazaro, have web pages up and running. Agents will be able to join the new platform after they have completed basic KVCore training (which can be completed in as little as 15 minutes per day for 4 weeks) and will then be able to make their own websites & real estate lead capturing tools live.
July saw the completion of several of our company’s objectives, none of which could have been accomplished without Miami Beach Brokers® AMAZING Executive Assistant, Roxana Smith. Roxana left her position at the end of July to move into a full-time position at a law firm ahead of her attending law school in the near future. Roxana’s work has been key in achieving many of the company’s objectives over the past year and we are grateful to her for the extraordinary level of diligence, business acumen, and professionalism she demonstrated during her tenure in the position. Roxana remains a REALTOR® within our organization and will be pursuing her real estate practice part-time for the foreseeable future.
As we conclude the first week of August and pass the Summer midpoint, we take this special time of year to spend time with family and enjoy the calm, warm, summer waters of the Atlantic Ocean and we evaluate our business goals and plan for a continuation of the fast-moving real estate markets we witnessed in the late winter and throughout the spring later this fall & winter.
